About the Children's Writer and Paranoid Schizophrenic, Richard Carlson Jr.Richard is a thirty-seven-year-old and has paranoid schizophrenia and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Richard was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia at almost twenty-one years of age. He didn't realize he had the mental illness until he was thirty-three.
